Michelle & Brock - Engagement Shoot Little Corona
Before every photoshoot many times self doubt begins to creep in. Thoughts like, what if I completely bomb this photoshoot and every photo is unworthy. What if the client is truly disappointed in what they receive. Well I don't think I've bombed a photoshoot yet or maybe I felt like I did but in the end I was being overly self critical. As an artist I always want to do something new, something unique and special each time. Even though I may visit the location more than once I look to capture the same elements but with a different perspective. So these were some of my thoughts before the shoot yesterday. I had photographed here before and I wanted something special for this couple. Sometimes it takes a little bit of warming up before I feel my creativity to begin to flow freely. I remind myself to do what I do best, to go with what I'm feeling and to even take a minute to pause and feel the moment. Last night at Corona Del Mar I had this rad couple who were my patient subjects. @brock.allan & @michelleclarkk. Wouldn't you agree they both look great together? They were willing to get hit by a few waves well I had them showcase their mannequin skills with my long exposures. I'm super stoked on the photos we got and I hope you both love them too. I wish you both the best and congratulations again on your engagement! Hope to shoot with you both again sometime soon :)
